It's Like Hiking On A Bike

On a very warm and beautiful late September afternoon we took our cross bikes up Leif Erikson Drive. 

There was a heatwave in the city and up there we saw a lot of almost naked runners and people coolin' off with their dogs.

It feels like that road goes on forever. 

This time we made it to Saltzman Road. Not sure what way we were supposed to go... we went the wrong way up Saltzman instead of going straight through. 

We didn't know it untill we turned around and returned to the intersection. 

From that spot through the trees you can look out and see the St Johns Bridge. 

Usually on Highway 30 you look up to the bridge.

Some domineering father asked me to take a photo of him and his very unenthusiastic son. 

Can you see the bridge between us? 

He must have said it five times. Yes! I think I got it!
